Our Assurance Services team provides an independent and objective role in the financial reporting for our clients to maximizing transparency and reliability.
Financial Statement Audit
An audit engagement is a systematic and independent examination of books, accounts, statutory records, documents, and vouchers of an entity to ascertain how the financial statements as well as non-financial disclosures present a true and fair view of the entity. It also attempts to ensure that the books of accounts are properly maintained by the entity as required by law. With these reports, your entity can demonstrate your adherence to best business practices to outside interests. It is an intensive examination with the highest level of assurance.
Employee Benefit Plan Audits
If your employee benefit plan is required to have an audit, it is the plan’s administrator’s duty to hire an independent qualified public accountant to perform a quality audit in accordance with ERISA and DOL requirements. Our firm has the explicit training and experience in auditing benefit plans to meet your needs to have an accurate report.
Review
A review engagement is an analysis of financial statements and inquiries of the management team to confirm the consistency of the statements. A review is substantially less in scope than an audit and provides limited assurance.
Compilation
In a compilation engagement, our firm will assist management in presenting financial information in the form of financial statements. No assurance is expressed. These financial statements are used primarily for internal use.
Agreed Upon Procedures
An agreed-upon procedures engagement is one in which we are engaged to issue a report of findings based on specific procedures performed on a subject matter. Only the specific procedures identified will be performed and reported on. We can help you customize the engagement to target specific areas of concern and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
